In Philippians 1:12-26 we see that a life full of joy doesn't equal life with ideal circumstances. All of us have certain circumstances that cause us difficulty. Life is hard but in the midst of these circumstances we can still be full of joy in Jesus, but only if we know Jesus.
Paul, while imprisoned, shows us that in order to live a life full of joy we have to:
- Put the Gospel first
- Put Christ's Glory above our own.
